Hallöchen. I am Nessie.
Sociology student. Observer. Writer.
The Nesscape is where I escape from mundane, fast-paced life and write about the world through my lense.
As a third world country citizen living in first world country, I observe society, culture, and my everyday moments. It’s not just a blog, it is a growing reflection of being an overthinker and yes, it might be that deep.
I’m endlessly fascinated by people and society. Why we feel the way we do, how society shapes us, and what it means to live meaningfully in a confusing, complicated world.
I started this space because, for a long time, I felt alone in trying to understand life. I didn’t have many friends growing up, and I often wondered why connection felt so distant. Why the world could be so kind and so cruel at the same time.
Studying sociology gave me language for things I’d always felt but couldn’t explain. It helped me see that our pain, our loneliness, and even our confusion aren’t just personal failures, they’re deeply human experiences, shaped by the world around us.
Now, I create videos, blogs, and reflections that explore that space where sociology meets the human heart. Because I believe understanding, not toxic positivity, not manifestation, not perfection, is what truly brings comfort.
I don’t promise to have the answers. I’m still figuring things out, too.
But if you’ve ever felt too soft for this world, too curious to stay quiet, or too lonely to pretend everything’s fine, you’re in the right place.
